Catch As Catch Can Wrestling Accreditation Course Level 1
Welcome to the accreditation course. If you are looking on here then you are one step closer to not only learning, but perfecting the style of Catch as Catch Can Wrestling passed to our Head Coach Roy Wood from his coach Billy Riley. We just don’t want to show you the moves, we want you to master them. Every detail of positioning and execution. All the greats of Catch Wrestling like Roy, Billy Robinson, Carl Gotch were heavy on detail, and we want to do the same.
Our accreditation courses have been a massive success, and we currently have students who are up to level 5. Now, we want to give the same opportunity to those around the world and also to those whose life commitments don’t allow them to take a week off work.
Study at your own pace, perfect the moves, upload your videos and one of our team will assess your progress.
You cannot progress to the next level until you have passed the level before. Here at SnakePit, we don’t want to just pass anyone to sell courses, we want to continue Billy’s legacy through Roy and then through our students.
As coach Greg says with these courses… level 1 is your letters, level 2 we start to make words, level 3 is sentences, level 4 you are writing paragraphs and so on and so on.
These are the building blocks of Wigan Catch Wrestling.
Level 1
This is a great way to learn the foundations of Catch Wrestling, from stances, to some simple takedowns, some ground moves and setting up hooking in.
